Business English - Master Class

General Business English Lesson Plan B2- C1 - Overview

Flipped Learning Methodology with/ a CLIL Framework and integrated TBL with Formative and Summative Assessment Possibilities

The goal of any Flipped Classroom is to optimize the classroom time or online time by having participants do the prep work in their free time outside the classroom. This way the participants can go over the  vocabulary and grammar related to the topics being covered and have time to think (personal processing of topics, vocabulary, and notetaking).

Student-Driven (Voice and Choice)

Themes List for BE Online Course - Flipped Learning Approach

  • Any adult learning experience should get participants to choose their own themes. How a teacher guides participants to choose the themes they want to cover in the online-flipped learning cycle takes on many forms. Brainstorming, Mind Mapping, a Questionnaire, or Design Thinking are just a few methods to undertake during this stage of the learning process.

  • BUT - Teachers can share this list of themes with participants in order to decrease the time it takes for them to come up with a list of their own.

  • Participants can choose the one theme they would like to lead in the class.

  • The session leader will be required to follow the prescribed workflow set out by the teacher. (See detailed Workflow Plan)
